Episode 12: Tawna Loutsenhizer

Part 2 – Ellen Guise’s wife and psychotherapist, Tawna Loutsenhizer talks about her early spiritual life and the shame she was made to feel when she fell in love with another woman in high school.  Her parents’ negative reaction to her and the rejection she felt from them and their pastor, led her away from organized religion for many years, although she maintained a belief in a higher power.  The freedom that she feels to be herself at Waverly Presbyterian Church has meant a lot to her and she shares that feeling with us.
