Episode 87: April Jackson
April Jackson is committed to a mission of wellness for all. She is a 500 YRT Yoga Teacher and a certified Mindfulness Instructor with over 20 years of experience and she is also an International Coaching Federation Certified Executive Leadership Coach. She sits on the board of Case Specific Nutrition's Chronic Disease and Healt Alliance and is dealing with Lupus, her own chronic diseease. She has facilitated impactful discussions for a number of organizations including: WQED, the City of Pittsburgh, FedEx Ground, Los Angeles Unified School District and Penn Energy. Her story is one of empowerment and inspiration.
Episode 67: Sarah Silk
Sarah Silk is a Pittsburgh artist with a wide range of depth and experience. She is a movement teacher, primarily teaching the Feldenkrais method of somatic education, as well as a theater actor and a fiber artist. Her formal education includes a degree in Philosophy from the University of Chicago, an MFA in acting from Rutgers University, and comprehensive professional certifications in Pilates, yoga, myofascial release in the Barnes method, and Feldenkrais (see feldenkraispittsburgh.com).
Sarah has appeared many times on Pittsburgh theatrical stages to great reviews. As a sustainable artist, she collaborates with her mother Louise Silk, who is a prolific Pittsburgh artist. Together they created SilkDDenim over a decade ago, where they deconstruct used clothing by hand and re-make the recycled materials into individually crafte objects. She is also a member of the initiative known as the Rustbelt Fibershed, which is a bio regional textile community growing hope and resilience through local fiber, local color, and local labor.

Christian mystic, Amy Lynn is a nationally certified counselor, a licensed psychotherapist, wellness coach and the author of 8 books. She has practiced in the field of psychology for over 20 years and has helped thousands of patients find hope and healing. She runs a private practice in Sioux City, IA and offers Mindful Meditation seminars and empowerment workshops worldwide. She has master’s degrees in psychology, clinical mental health, and addictions therapy. Her latest book, "Sacred Garden" is about hope and healing to overcome challenges and live your best life. It teaches you how to transform heartache to victory. Her story includes her own struggles with alcoholism which she overcame shortly after her father's death at age 46 from that same disease. Although she sees Jesus as her guru, this book includes all 27 precepts of Buddhism.

Author of "I AM: the Power of Discovering Who You Reall Are" and "Time in a Bottle: Mastering the Experience of Life," Howard Falco reveals his sudden mind expansion that happened in 2002 and how it has impacted his life and the lives of others. His third book, "Invincible" will be released in 2024. He is the founder of "The 8 Wisdom Foundation" which shares his teachings worldwide.
